The High Tauern Mountains.

Reutte in Tyrol, Austria.

“Once in a dream far beyond these castle walls. I stood alone while the minstrel sang his song. So afraid I’d lost my soul..”

The little pine tree that grew on the walls of Ehrenberg castle with a back view of the Austrian Alps. The High Tauern is a vast mountain range in the Central Eastern Alps of Europe. The High Tauern stretches across three Austrian federal states: Salzburg, Tyrol, and Carinthia. It also extends into parts of Italy, specifically South Tyrol and East Tyrol.
